Cold Water Scuba Diving
McGregor Lake is known as one of the best diving spots in the area. Cold water scuba diving training was held at McGregor Lake in February and March. The photographer and two instructors stayed with us two nights. Fishing, boating and scuba diving are all part of the summer experience on McGregor Lake. The area is bountiful with wildlife and a great place to go hiking, four-wheeling, and just plain old EXPLORING. If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience even more spectacular scenery, Glacier National Park is 90 minutes away and Meadow Peak Skydiving is just 5 miles from The Lodge. McGregor Lakes RV is a full-service 41 space RV park located just across Hwy 2.
The Lodge at McGregor Lake is a year-round facility. Fall ushers in great hunting opportunities for elk, deer, bear, moose and lion. Ice fishing for Rainbow and Lake Trout are popular McGregor Lake winter sports. The Lodge is home to one of the largest fishing derbies in Northwest Montana, held at the end of February. If that isn’t enough, hundreds of miles of trails lie right outside our doors, great for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts.
Everyone has a good time at the lake. Come join us Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall, it’s a sportsman and nature lover’s dream getaway, anytime of year.
